Definition
The standing group of senior stakeholders from both the client and the BPO partner — not a meeting cadence itself, but the group of decision-makers who own strategic direction for the engagement.
Business Importance
The steering committee is who ultimately approves scale-phase decisions, contract changes, and escalations that operational-level reviews (MBR, weekly alignment) can't resolve on their own.
Industry Examples
A quarterly steering committee meeting where the client's VP of Operations and Infusion BI's account director approve scaling a pod from 20 to 40 agents.
