2026 pricing guide: what call-centre outsourcing in India really costs
Original research, November 2026

What Indian BPO Websites Tell Buyers

We reviewed 81 India-based BPO websites to see what a buyer can learn before making contact. About one in four show ISO 27001 as certified or mention SLAs. About one in eight show a starting price, and fewer than one in ten explain how their calling follows Do Not Call or similar rules.

The findings

Each figure is the share of the 81 sites where we found the item on the pages we checked. "Not found" does not mean a company lacks it.

Share of 81 India-based BPO websites showing each item: ISO 27001 as certified 26%, SLA mentioned 23%, security or compliance page 14%, own starting price 12%, SOC 2 12%, own calling-rules statement 7%.

What we looked for Sites Share What counted
ISO 27001 shown as certified 21 of 81 26% The site says or displays that it holds the certificate. We did not check the certificates themselves.
SLA mentioned as part of the service 19 of 81 23% The site mentions SLAs or service levels for its own work. Most do not state a target.
Dedicated security or compliance page 11 of 81 14% A page about the company's own security or compliance, not a security service it sells.
Own starting price shown 10 of 81 12% A rate for the company's own service. General market estimates were not counted. Six of the ten are virtual assistant firms.
SOC 2 mentioned 10 of 81 12% The site mentions SOC 2 for itself, including softer wording such as following SOC 2 practices.
Own calling-rules statement 6 of 81 7% The site says how its own calling follows Do Not Call or TCPA rules. Consent small print and footer links were not counted.

What stood out

Certificates are easier to find than service levels

More sites showed ISO 27001 as certified than mentioned an SLA. A certificate covers how information is secured; it says little about response times or quality, so buyers need to ask about both.

Published prices are rare and uneven

We found a starting price on 10 sites, and six of those sell virtual assistants. None of the ten is mainly a voice call center. Custom programmes are hard to price without scope, so expect to request a quote.

Calling rules are rarely explained

Six sites explained how their calling follows Do Not Call or TCPA rules. Many sampled companies sell abroad and only 9 clearly showed they serve Indian customers, so this is directional.

How we did it

  • Sample: 131 companies listed as India-based on public Clutch and DesignRush directories. We kept 81 after removing sites that were unreachable, empty, not BPOs, not India-led or related to a company already counted.
  • Pages: the homepage and up to five pages such as pricing, about, security, services and contact, using public pages only and following each site's robots.txt rules.
  • Coding: a script found possible matches and saved the surrounding text. We then read that text and removed false matches, such as market estimates, small print and style files.
  • Contact: we contacted no company and submitted no forms.

Limits to keep in mind

  • This measures what websites say, not what companies do. We did not verify any claim or certificate.
  • We checked only a few pages per site, and text loaded by JavaScript can be missed, so real shares may be higher.
  • Directory listings can be paid and favour companies that market themselves, so this is not a random sample of the industry.
  • We read the text behind each match, but did not open every site by hand, so a "not found" result was not confirmed site by site.
  • Disclosure: Infusion Business Intelligence is itself an India-based BPO and is not in the sample. No company is named or ranked.

Ask for evidence on what a website leaves out: certificate scope and expiry, SLA targets and remedies, and how numbers are screened before calling.

We reviewed 81 websites of BPO, call center, back-office and related outsourcing companies listed as India-based on the public Clutch and DesignRush directories, in November 2026.

How many Indian BPO websites show a price?

How many Indian BPO websites claim ISO 27001 certification?

21 of the 81 sites, or 26%, say or display that they are ISO 27001 certified. This counts what the websites state; we did not check the certificates.

Does a missing mention mean a company does not follow a standard?

No. We only checked a few pages per site, and a company may hold a certificate, offer an SLA or follow calling rules without saying so on those pages. Ask each vendor directly.
