Upsell, Cross-Sell & Renewal Services
A dedicated sales pod that talks to the customers you already have about upgrades, add-ons, other products and renewals, working inside your CRM and within your pricing and discount rules.
Overview
Upselling, cross-selling and renewal outreach are sales conversations with people who already buy from you. An upsell moves a customer to a higher plan or larger package, a cross-sell introduces a product they do not have yet, and a renewal call secures the next term and often expands it. Infusion BI runs this work from New Delhi and Haldwani, India, with a sales pod that works only for your brand. The pod works from your CRM data to decide who to call and with what offer, then contacts customers by phone and email in a planned sequence. Depending on what your business needs, the pod can hand interested customers to your account managers or take the sale through to close itself, always within your pricing and discount rules. Every call is recorded and logged in your CRM.
What are upselling and cross-selling services?
Upselling and cross-selling services sell more to your existing customers: higher plans, add-ons, other products and renewals. Infusion BI runs them from India with a dedicated sales pod that works from your CRM data, contacts customers by phone and email, and either hands interest to your team or closes within your pricing rules.
Common Operational Challenges
Account Managers With No Time to Sell
The people who own customer relationships spend their days on service issues, so upgrade and cross-sell conversations rarely happen.
Renewals Handled at the Last Minute
Contract and policy renewals are chased only when the date arrives, with no time to discuss a bigger plan or a longer term.
Customers Who Never Hear About Other Products
A customer with one product often does not know you sell others, and nobody has a list of who would benefit from what.
Offers Made Off-Script
Without clear rules, discounts and promises vary from rep to rep, and nobody can see later what a customer was offered.
Target Outcomes
More revenue from the customers you already have, renewals that are not left to chance, and a clear view in your CRM of who was offered what.
Capabilities & Solutions
Upgrade and Upsell Calls
Customers who match agreed signals, such as plan limits or usage, are called about moving to a higher plan or a larger package.
Cross-Sell Campaigns
Customers who hold one product are offered a related product that fits their account, from a list built on your CRM data.
Renewal Outreach
Accounts are contacted well ahead of renewal dates to confirm the next term, resolve open issues and discuss upgrades or longer terms.
Hand-Off or Close
Depending on your sales model, the pod passes interested customers to your account managers or closes the sale within your pricing and discount rules.
Payments Inside Your Systems
Where you want the sale completed on the call, agents can take card payments inside your own payment systems and never record card data elsewhere.
Expansion Reporting
Dashboards showing who was contacted, what was offered and what was accepted, with recordings logged in your CRM.

The Infusion BI Difference
Infusion Business Intelligence differs from a traditional BPO vendor in four operating areas: staffing, quality assurance, reporting, and SLA governance. Infusion BI assigns dedicated delivery pods instead of shared agent pools, AI-audits 100% of interactions instead of sampling, and reports through live dashboards instead of static weekly summaries.
| Area | Traditional BPO | Infusion BI |
|---|---|---|
| Staffing model | Shared staffing pools with high churn rates. | Dedicated delivery pods assigned exclusively to your program. |
| Quality assurance | Manual random QA call/ticket sampling checks. | 100% real-time AI conversations quality audit checks. |
| Reporting | Static weekly basic text reports. | Live executive BI client performance dashboards. |
| SLA governance | Generic SLA parameters with reactive support. | Domain-specific governance and SLA accountability. |
Who This Is For — and Who It Isn’t
A good fit if you…
- SaaS and subscription businesses with customers on lower plans who are ready for more.
- Banks, NBFCs and fintechs with existing customers who qualify for other products.
- Insurers and brokers who want renewal calls to include a review of cover.
- Businesses that keep clean customer data in HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or a similar CRM.
- Teams that want a dedicated per-FTE pod rather than commission-only or per-sale pricing.
Not the right fit if you need…
- Prospecting brand-new customers; that is our B2B lead generation and outbound calling service.
- Customers who want to cancel or have lapsed; that is our customer retention and win-back service.
- Programs that want agents to set their own prices or discounts beyond your rules.
- Pay-per-sale or commission-only pricing, or a campaign lasting only a few days.
Scope & Exclusions
The pod owns expansion conversations with your existing customers. Which customers are contacted, which offers they hear, who closes and the discount limits are agreed with you and written into the pilot SOW.
What the team does
- Building upsell, cross-sell and renewal call lists from your CRM data, using signals you agree.
- Calling and emailing existing customers about upgrades, add-ons, related products and renewals.
- Qualifying interest against your criteria and booking meetings with your account managers when a sale needs them.
- Closing the sale on the call where you want it, within your pricing and discount rules, including payment inside your systems.
- Logging every offer, outcome, recording and next step in your CRM, with weekly reporting on expansion revenue.
What it explicitly does not do
- Does not set prices or offer discounts beyond the rules you approve.
- No licensed financial or insurance advice; where a product legally needs a licensed seller, the sale is completed by your licensed staff or under arrangements agreed in the SOW.
- No promotional calls to numbers on DNC/NDNC registries or your opt-out list.
- Card payments are taken only inside your own compliant payment systems; agents never record card data anywhere else.
How It Works
-
01
Agree offers, rules and roles
In discovery we agree which products can be offered to which customers, the pricing and discount limits, and whether the pod closes or hands off. These rules go into the pilot SOW.
-
02
Build lists from your CRM
Customers are grouped from your CRM data by signals you choose, such as plan, product holdings, usage or renewal date, and checked against your opt-out list and the relevant Do Not Call registry.
-
03
Train on products and value
Over 3 to 4 weeks reps learn your full product range, how each offer helps a customer, the approved script and how to handle common objections.
-
04
Contact customers in sequence
Reps call customers in a planned order, backed by follow-up emails. Renewal accounts are reached well before the date, so there is time for a proper conversation.
-
05
Close or hand off
Interested customers either buy on the call, within your rules and through your payment systems, or are booked with your account manager. Every outcome is logged in your CRM.
-
06
Score, review and refine
Calls are scored by AI-assisted QA and sampled by the QA analyst, including offer compliance. Results feed the daily report and the weekly review, where offers and lists are refined.
What We Measure
- Customers contacted per campaign
- Upgrade and cross-sell acceptance rate
- Renewals secured before the due date
- Expansion revenue per agent
- Meetings booked with account managers
- Offer and discount compliance score
The Dedicated Account Expansion Pod
Your expansion program starts with one small dedicated pod: sales reps plus a team lead and a QA analyst, sized in the SOW to your customer base and renewal calendar. Headcount is never shared with other clients.
Account Expansion Reps
Trained on your full product range and offers; call existing customers and close or hand off within your rules.
Team Lead
Plans lists and renewal timing, coaches on value-led conversations, approves exceptions and sends the daily report.
QA Analyst
Samples AI-scored calls for accuracy, offer compliance and customer experience, and drives corrective action.
The pod works inside your HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho instance, with calls recorded and logged in your CRM, and dedicated outreach domains to protect your primary domain reputation.
Quality & Governance
Every expansion call is scored by AI-assisted QA against five dimensions and sampled by the pod's QA analyst. Failures trigger CAPA (corrective and preventive action).
Accuracy
Product details, prices, terms and CRM entries are correct.
Compliance
Approved script, disclosures, discount limits, DNC/NDNC and opt-outs respected.
Outcome
The offer fitted the customer, and the sale, hand-off or decline was handled correctly.
Customer Experience
Helpful, honest and never pushy with a customer who already trusts your brand.
Process Adherence
Offer, outcome and next step logged in the CRM, and the right hand-off path used.
Governance cadence
Daily performance reports, weekly governance reviews and monthly business reviews.
Pilot & Engagement Terms
The pilot is the standard 3-month initial term — there is no separate "free trial". You start small, measure against agreed metrics, and decide at the end of the term whether to scale, adjust or exit.

NDA + SLA
NDA and SLA are signed before any data transfer.
-
03
Onboarding & certification
Onboarding and agent certification take 3–4 weeks.
-
04
Live delivery
Daily performance reports and weekly governance reviews from day one of live work.
-
05
Pilot review
An end-of-term pilot review: scale, adjust, or exit.
Pod
One small dedicated pod — agents plus a team lead and a QA analyst — sized in the SOW to the agreed volume. Headcount is never shared with other clients.
Pricing
Per dedicated FTE per month or volume-based, quoted after scoping.
Exit terms
No obligation to renew after the initial term. On exit, your SOPs, knowledge base and reports are handed back, system access is revoked, and your data is returned or deleted per the agreement.
